PROPERTIES: Phytosphingosine is a natural component of the epidermis. It plays a key role in the building and maintenance of the skin defense barrier. Phytosphingosine efficiently controls the production of scales and sebum; it also has antiseptic activity to control the local flora. DOUXO® Seborrhea Shampoo leaves the coat clean, shiny and lustrous while removing excess body odor associated with seborrheic conditions.

Phytosphingosine has been developed and patented by Sogeval for repairing and controlling the seborrheic condition of the skin and fur of animals. It leaves the coat clean, soft and lustrous while removing excess body odor associated with seborrheic dermatitis.
USES: dogs and cats - topical management of seborrheic conditions.
Directions For Use
External use only.
Wet the animal with warm water and apply DOUXO® Seborrhea Shampoo extensively on the fur to create a rich lather. Massage the shampoo into the wet hair coat, lather freely. Allow to remain on the hair coat for 5 to 10 minutes before rinsing thoroughly with clean water. Repeat if needed.
The veterinarian’s recommendations should be observed.
It is generally recommended to shampoo 2 or 3 times weekly, for 1 to 2 weeks. Then, for effective control of the condition one should utilize DOUXO® Seborrhea Micro-emulsion Spray.
PRECAUTIONS FOR USE: Do not swallow. Avoid contact with the eyes.
